We live our lives in the footsteps of G-d and rely on the advice and teachings of the the tzaddikim (righteous) of our generation. During a time when there is so much else in the world to distract us, and our eyes wander from our phones to our TVs, I can tell you about the positive impact a picture of the tzaddikim hanging in our homes and offices. Chazal tell us that Yosef Hatzaddik, when faced with a tough decision to sin with his masters wife, looked out the window, saw the image of his father, and ran from the house. How much more so does hanging a beautiful portait of our leaders and teachers impact our lives and bring the holiness and love of Torah into our homes.
